Ageing of Asphalt Pavements (AAP+)

AAP+ richt zich op het ontwikkelen van versneld verouderingsprotocollen voor asfalt toplagen. Dit project heeft als doel fundamentele kennis van complexe en op elkaar inwerkende omgeving geïnduceerde degradatieprocessen te gebruiken om verouderingsprotocollen te ontwikkelen voor standaard en (nieuwe) alternatieve wegenbouwmaterialen. De ontwikkelde verouderingsprocedures zullen worden verfijnd en bijgewerkt om een meer representatieve kunstmatige veroudering te krijgen in vergelijking met veroudering in de praktijk. Het belang van parameters zal worden onderzocht om in de verouderingsprotocollen te worden opgenomen, zoals vorst-dooicycli, vocht en UV-straling.
