In June 2024, Harwich Haven Authority, North Sea Port, Port of Rotterdam Authority, Kystverket (Norwegian Coastal Administration), and Rijkswaterstaat (NL) launched a joint initiative to significantly reduce emissions in dredging activities through cleaner engines and renewable energy carriers. This effort is an open invitation to fellow clients in the dredging industry to join the endeavour.
By working together, we can support a level playing field and provide clarity for contractors in an international market, which has unique exceptions in laws and regulations.
